You can reduce the risk of faults arising and keep your equipment in optimum condition by having it serviced regularly. In addition, you are responsible as the user and/or owner of cooling and/or refrigeration equipment for ensuring that the equipment, depending on the content of the system, is checked to make sure that it is leak tight in accordance with the statutory European Regulation (EC) no. 842/2006. This inspection will need to be carried out by a certified company in accordance with article 19 of the Regulation on Fluorinated Greenhouse Gases and Regulated Substances in Cooling Equipment. Compliance with this will be checked by the Environmental Hygiene Inspectorate from the Ministry of Housing, Spatial Planning and the Environment.
